Lately I have been thinking of learning Ruby, Python or similar to develop working prototypes of some of my ideas. It occurs to me that it would be a good idea for someone to offer a training course in programming where the student brings an idea that they want to implement and over the duration of the course writes the required code with, and under the guidance of the teacher.

For the student, it is kind of like paying for your application to be developed but learning to do it yourself at the same time. Next time round, you may well be able to do it all by yourself.
