Yes I know MSFT abused its monopoly somewhat back then but in those days, before anyone knew any better, who wouldn't have done the same? Also, it did pave the way for a lot of the technology we have come to take for granted. So no, I don't want MSFT to go down in flames like a lot of people seem to. Companies like Google are like the people who say "we can start a wind farm, and then make electric cars and make money saving people money and time" and so they do it, and it helps us all.
