It has been decalred a failure because the planned business didn't launch at the end of the weekend. As someone who followed the events closely through the weekend, I am very disappointed. Still lessons are bound to have been learnt and I do hope that this does not turn out to be the last Startup Weekend attempted. A lessons learned summary should be published and hopefully the next gathering can use it for success.
