Cool! I'll keep trying and maybe I'll get lucky. So far I have only seen what appear to be security cams and none with any particularly interesting views. I tried being very random in my selection and got a Google message saying my activity pattern resembled that of a bot. They therefore temporarily prevented me from selecting further rseults.

I've had interesting views of the ocean, the beach, there's one that I found over in China that showed workers building some sort of a super structure, my favorite was one day it was snowing out side my house and I viewed a ski resort, ski lift and all it refreshed every 30 seconds I could see the skiers moving all around and in the htt:// was the IP address so I traced it the resort was up in Minnesota how cool is that? The best part is taking control and pan from side to side or tilt up and down, on one you could see the tech people trying to figure out what was going on, I was messing with there head now you got to understand I was snow bound and was suffering from cabin fever it was better thin watching my bread mold.. . . happy viewing Thom

Thanks Thom. Tried this but didn't find anything particularly interesting. Perhaps there is some skill to identifying cool cams! Any pointers?

Here's how to use Google to find unsecured webcams:

http://www.boingboing.net/2005/01/04/googling_unsecured_w.html

More simply, just type this into Google:
inurl:"ViewerFrame?Mode="
Googling unsecured webcams
This is both very cool and very scary. Use this search string below with Google, and you will find dozens (hundreds?) of unsecured webcam feeds (most seem to be security cams).
I have been doing this for a long time just keep in mind the difference of day and night most of the URL's show the IP address there for you thin can trace that and find out where the cam is, thin some times I google earth it and thats also cool, been all over the world and have not left my computer room. have fun Thom Ready
